HideCue Terms of Service
1. Description of Service
HideCue is a desktop note-taking and productivity tool developed and operated by an individual developer (“we,” “us,” or “our”). You may unlock advanced features by purchasing the Pro version via a one-time payment.
2. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, limited license to install and use the Software on devices owned or controlled by you.
3. Payment and Trial
- The Pro version is priced at $29.99 USD as a one-time purchase for lifetime access on the licensed device.
- We offer a 7-day free trial so you can fully evaluate the product before purchasing.
- Due to the nature of digital software and the trial period provided, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued after purchase.
4. User Obligations
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software;
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the Software;
- Use the Software for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that infringes third-party rights.
5. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Software and any copies thereof remain the property of the developer. These Terms do not grant you any intellectual property rights.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. The developer shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Software.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH DAMAGES WERE FORESEEABLE.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may submit the dispute to the competent people’s court located in the developer’s jurisdiction (Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China).
